Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s love for blockchain and crypto is not hidden from the public. Being an avid supporter of crypto, Jack has come forward on many occasions and said words in support of crypto and blockchain. While answering a question asked by Cardi B, a popular American rapper, Jack has asserted that Bitcoin will replace the US dollar. Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, known professionally as Cardi B, has tweeted a question on his wall, “Do you think crypto is going to replace the dollar?” In response to this tweet, Jack Dosey wrote “Yes, Bitcoin will”.
Jack Dorsey, who owns a company named Square Inc a payment giant, is actively working to incorporate digital currencies in mainstream payment services. Previously, in a B-word conference, he emphasized that Bitcoin could be the currency of the internet.
While the crypto enthusiast is happy with much positive news and adoption of blockchain, the Bitcoin and entire crypto market are on a continuous decline since a flash crash on the 4th of this month. The BTC and major alts have not recovered much from the plunge despite much support and massive investments coming into the crypto market.
Since its inception in 2009, Bitcoin has been a sensation, with a gigantic increase in its price. This year BTC touched its all time high of $69,000, however, since reaching the maximum, Bitcoin price is rolling down, and currently standing between $47K – $49K.
