Strive has accelerated its Bitcoin accumulation with another large purchase, putting its latest buying pace ahead of Strategy while its ASST shares continue to climb.
The company added to its growing Bitcoin treasury as institutional demand for the asset remained elevated.
The latest purchase also pushed Strive’s holdings further up the corporate Bitcoin treasury rankings. Meanwhile, ASST has extended a strong market rally over the past month.
Strive (NASDAQ: ASST) bought 1,355 Bitcoin for $107.7 million on Monday, September 21, according to CEO Matt Cole. The purchase lifted the company’s Bitcoin treasury to 26,355 BTC.
The latest acquisition exceeded Strategy’s purchase on the same day. Strategy (NASDAQ: MSTR) bought 950 BTC for nearly $76 million, marking its first Bitcoin purchase since August 31.
Strive expands its Bitcoin buying pace
Cole said Strive paid an average of $79,475 per Bitcoin in its latest purchase. The transaction extends a buying streak that has rapidly expanded the company’s holdings since it began accumulating Bitcoin following its September 2025 merger.
Strive bought 1,800 BTC in late August and added another 1,375 BTC the following week. It then purchased 469 BTC, taking its treasury to 25,000 BTC. Monday’s 1,355 BTC purchase now brings its total to 26,355 BTC.

Comparison of Strive and Strategy’s Bitcoin growth over the last year. Strategy has added more coins, but its growth rate has plateaued because of the sheer size of its stash.
Strategy remains far ahead in total Bitcoin holdings. The company holds 846,000 BTC, valued at about $71.9 billion based on the figures provided. Twenty One Capital ranks next with 43,514 BTC, while Strive sits in fifth place with its latest holdings.
However, Strive has maintained a faster pace of individual purchases in recent weeks. The latest acquisition adds to a series of large transactions that have expanded its Bitcoin treasury within a short period.
How Strive is funding its Bitcoin purchases
Strive has relied heavily on SATA, its Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock, to finance its Bitcoin accumulation. SATA pays a 13% dividend every business day and crossed $1 billion in notional value earlier this month.
The previous 469 BTC purchase received full funding from SATA. However, the latest transaction used a broader mix of capital sources.
Cole said warrant exercises began last week and generated $21.2 million in gross proceeds. Including that capital, SATA represented 57.7% of the funds raised.
The funding mix gives Strive another source of capital without increasing its reliance on SATA. The preferred stock program also remains active after SATA returned to its $100 par value.
ASST has also posted a sharp rally. The stock closed at $12.80 on August 18 before moving above $30 on September 18. That represents a gain of more than 120% over roughly one month.
Google Finance data showed ASST up about 90% year to date, with the company carrying a market value of roughly $2.5 billion to $2.6 billion.
Bitcoin also reached $85,000 on Monday, its highest level since January. At that price, Strive’s 26,355 BTC treasury would be worth roughly $2.2 billion.
