Tesla billionaire and CEO of blogging platform X Elon Musk has revealed the release date for Grok 3, mentioning that it will be the smartest AI on earth.

Elon Musk to release Grok 3 on Monday
The announcement is coming after his comments at the World Government Summit that took place in Dubai three days ago. At the event, he mentioned that Grok3 would be very smart, calling it a ‘scary smart’ AI model. He also took advantage of the speech to take a few sly digs at OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. Musk and Altman have been at loggerheads for a while since OpenAI announced plans to switch to a for-profit model.
While both Musk and Altman have been involved in some protracted lawsuits over the development, Musk shocked the entire market when he made a public bid for OpenAI, bidding $97.4 billion for the artificial intelligence company. While Altman laughed off the bid at first, reports claim that the company’s board of directors has unanimously rejected Musk’s bid to take over the company.
Sam Altman also recently received an updated roadmap for its GPT-4.5 and GPT-5 without mentioning an exact date for the new models. When he was asked about the estimated time of launch for both models, Altman mentioned that it could be weeks and things could run into months.
