Bitcoin ETF trading dropped to about $8.05 billion across five sessions through Friday, marking the lowest full-week turnover since October 2024.
The period marked a third consecutive inflow week, although demand faded sharply after strong buying through Wednesday.
Bitcoin ETF Volume Slides 14 Percent
SoSoValue data showed trading volume fell 14 percent from $9.37 billion a week earlier. April 2025 recorded lower activity, although that week contained only four sessions because US markets closed for Good Friday. Among standard five-day weeks, turnover was the weakest since October 11, 2024.
Bitcoin traded near $64,000 for most of the week, below late-2025 highs. The funds still secured about $33.8 million in net inflows, extending their recovery to three weeks after a record eight-week outflow streak ended in early July.
Weekly demand weakened from $75.7 million and $197.4 million during the previous two periods. By Wednesday, inflows had reached about $499.1 million. Investors then withdrew $225.2 million on Thursday and $240.1 million on Friday.
BlackRock’s IBIT lost $414.7 million across those sessions and finished the week down about $95.5 million. ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF added roughly $85.8 million, while Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust attracted $78.1 million.

Ether products drew more than three times Bitcoin’s weekly inflows, despite holding only about one-eighth of their net assets.
Ether ETFs held $10.17 billion in net assets Friday, compared with $77.82 billion for Bitcoin products. Over three weeks, Ether attracted approximately $293.8 million, while Bitcoin collected about $306.9 million.
BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust generated $96.3 million. Grayscale’s Ethereum Mini Trust added $9.9 million, while Fidelity’s FETH lost $6.2 million. Ether ETF volume reached $2.78 billion, equal to about 35% of Bitcoin ETF turnover.
2026 Outflows Remain Substantial

Both groups ended eight-week withdrawal streaks on July 11, attracting a combined $281.8 million after about $9.46 billion left during the previous two months.
Bitcoin funds had also ended a record 13-day withdrawal run on June 5 following more than $4.4 billion in redemptions since mid-May. That day, $326 million exited Bitcoin ETFs, including $214 million from IBIT, while Ether funds ended a 17-day decline.
CoinShares data showed professional investors reduced Bitcoin exposure by 17 percent during the first quarter. Bitcoin traded near $64,368 Saturday morning, while Ether stood around $1,875, according to CoinGecko aggregated data.
